Maximum the Hormone Band Takes Hiatus From Concerts for Member's Surgery
posted on by Karen Ressler
The official Twitter account for Maximum The Hormone announced on Sunday that the group is postponing its live performances. As a result, the staff have cancelled four shows in October and November.
The account updated following the Osaka Haziketemazare Festival on Monday with a message from band member Daisuke-han, who explained that he had a hernia discovered in mid-August and was diagnosed with surgery. He wanted to continue with summer performances and didn't want people to be concerned, so he didn't say anything, but will now be getting surgery.
Maximum The Hormone has performed theme songs for such anime as Air Master, Death Note, as well as Tohai Densetu Akagi -Yamini Maiorita Tensai-. The band's song "F" was an insert song for the Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' film.
