Yasukaze Motomiya (Phone Call to the Bar), Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi (Sukiyaki Western Django, Ichi), Hitoshi Ozawa (Elite Yankee Saburo), and Kōji Matoba (Maid Deka, H2) will also appear in the adaptation, which will be directed by Takayuki Yamaga (Bad Girl, Manbiki G-Men wa Mita!).
The announcement did not specify if the live-action adaptation will be a film or television series.
