Pony Canyon began streaming two more character introduction videos on Thursday for the upcoming original anime series Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru. The videos introduce new cast members Yumi Uchiyama and Tomoyo Kurosawa.
Yumi Uchiyama (Nisekoi's Ruri) will play Fu Inubozaki, who introduces herself in the video: "Hero, dispatch! The television anime that I, Fu Inubozaki, will play a roll in, Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru, will premiere in October. Don't take it lightly because the heroes are girls, okay?"
Tomoyo Kurosawa (Black Bullet's Tina Sprout) will play Itsuki Inubozaki, who also introduces herself: "Hero, go! H-h-hello. I am Itsuki Inubozaki. Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru will premiere in October. Ah, I was nervous... Eh? It's already over?"
The first video featured Haruka Terui as Yūki Yūna.
Seiji Kishi (Persona 4 The Animation, Danganronpa The Animation) is directing the series based on an original plan by Takahiro (Akame ga KILL!) at Studio Gokumi. Makoto Uezu is handling series composition and BUNBUN is designing the characters.
The story takes place in the era of the gods, year 300. Yūna Yūki lives an ordinary life as a second year middle school student, but she's also a member of the "Hero Club," where club activities involve dealing with a mysterious being called "Vertex."
The series will air on MBS' "Animeism" block in starting in October.
