Viz Media's English digital edition of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that it will release the one-shot manga by Hiroshi Shiibashi (Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan) in next week's issue on April 9, the same day it debuts in Japan.
The 49-page one-shot is titled "Inishie no Horobimon" (The Antique Ruined Crest). The manga will center on a family crest that holds an ancient power and the clan that protects it.
Weekly Shonen Jump is publishing a series of one-shots this year by well-known manga creators as part of the magazine's 50th anniversary celebrations.
NisiOisin (Monogatari series, Medaka Box) and Mizuki Kawashita (Ichigo 100%) published a one-shot in the magazine on December 11, and Naoshi Komi (Nisekoi) published a one-shot on January 4.
Other authors slated to publish one-shots include Tite Kubo (Bleach), Kyōsuke Usuta (Pyu to Fuku! Jaguar), Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro (Toriko), and Ryūhei Tamura (Beelzebub, Hungry Marie).
